However, the tree is definitely smaller than expected, as a huge mirror has been strategically placed.
The hosts left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy, which was great and thoughtful.
The wood that was left for us to light the firepit and light the fire for the hot tub was wet. A tarp would be a great idea. The fire starter sticks listed in the house guide were not available, unfortunately. We left our one night stay a little bit disappointed that our hard work (4+ hrs) of attempting to get the hot tub hot enough was unsuccessful. My guess is that having a full day for it to heat up would be ideal.
We also had issues with the oven, stopping and starting again a couple of times while we tried to bake a pizza. Overall my whole party and I are very happy that we had this experience, but for 4 people, it was tight. The Hammocks were not comfortable for night use and I would not list that as a bed.

Located .9 mile from the 30-mile discovery bike trail, the treehouse is also 20 minutes from downtown Port Angeles or Sequim, Lavender fields, water activities on the strait, Olympic Game Farm, and Forks (home of the Twilight books). With mountains, surfing, Crescent Lake, and Sol Duc Hot springs less than 1 hour away, there are endless nature activities to enjoy.
The Perch was a very unique treehouse experience. We loved the location and the home was cute and cozy. It’s simple living so if you want any fancy treatment it might not be your cup of tea. It also has a tricky set of stairs up the the sleeping loft. We were fine with it, but it might be challenging for some people. Overall we loved it and enjoyed relaxing, watching the boats on the water, reading good books and hanging out! 😊

Located in a protected valley near Puget Sound in unincorporated Olympia, WA, this treehouse is nestled in the backwoods of our 14-acre property. Quick and easy access to I-5 and 10 minutes away from grocery stores, restaurants, and wildlife refuges. Please note that events and micro weddings must seek prior approval.
This adult-only, non-smoking, and no-pet space is designed for a maximum of two adult guests. Due to the nature of the treehouse, guests must be in good physical shape to climb stairs, ladders, and be under the weight limit of 200 lbs. No visitors are allowed without prior approval.
The treehouse is approximately 195 sq. ft. with a full-sized bed in the sleeping loft, and the bathroom is in a separate building with a composting toilet and sink on the ground level below the treehouse. Primitive cooking is available with a Keurig coffee/hot water machine, double sink with hot water, filtered water spigot, and propane grill with side burner. Guests have access to 14 acres of trails throughout old-growth woods, with walking paths covering approximately 1.5 miles.
Please note that WIFI can be spotty in inclement, windy, or humid weather, and there is no refrigerator or microwave. Guests have access to a private fire pit with complementary pre-cut wood from Oct 1- June 30th, and fire bans are yearly from July 1-Sept 30th.
Check-in is no sooner than 4 pm, and check-out is no later than 11 am, with access to an outdoor shower house available March 1st-December 15th. Please note that this is a strict non-smoking, non-vaping rental, which includes the outdoors and woods.
If the treehouse smells of smoke, there is an extra $400 purification cleaning fee. A composting toilet is available, and guests must sit until they feel the seat compress, with failure to follow instructions resulting in additional cleaning fees.
My partner Loves TreeHouses, so as a Birthday Surprise, I brought him here to spend a few nights! It was everything you would hope for: A Big Real Tree growing through the middle of the room, a Loft Bed in a low (but not too low) ceilinged area, Woodsy & lovely grounds, a bathroom with a compost toilet right at the bottom of the steps, a covered, outdoor, private shower just an easy walk away…The TreeHouse is Wonderful — Cozy and well-designed, and the finishing touches, such as the lighted pine bow by the bathroom sink, are just as Charming as can be! The deck has a roomy ice chest, and was such a lovely place to hang out to enjoy a meal or just time in the Trees… Small amenities, such as bug repellent, games in the room, a well-stocked Keurig Coffee bar, etc., abounded and made for a most pleasant experience.

The hosts of The Klickitat Treehouse are excited to present their 500 square foot alpine modern treehouse, fully supported by three Douglas Fir Trees, to their guests. The treehouse sits twenty feet above the ground at its highest point, offering sweeping views of Mount Adams and the Columbia River Gorge.
The space is inspired by a mountain lifestyle and Scandinavian architecture, featuring clean lines, neutral palettes, and natural light. Equipped with heating, AC, indoor & outdoor showers, kitchen, and private fire pit, guests can enjoy the beauty of the forest while being surrounded by natural materials that add warmth, beauty, and texture to their everyday experience.
Guest access is limited to the property only, as the treehouse is surrounded by private property. The treehouse is on 15 wooded acres, with an old logging road that winds a little trail through the property. Guests can enjoy the bench and trails on occasion when staying in their tiny house on the property.
The hosts have a strict burn ban policy in place during the summer months, typically from May to October. They have a zero tolerance for open flames, smoking, and fireworks of any kind on the property during this time, including indoor wood-burning stove fires and propane devices such as the BBQ grill. The treehouse has efficient electric heating and cooling but includes a wood-burning stove in the design for emergency purposes during a power outage.
Guests are asked to sign a liability waiver before receiving check-in instructions. The hosts strongly recommend 4 wheel drive / all wheel drive, winter tires/traction tires / tire chains, and comfort and experience driving in the snow, for any bookings from December through March.
The hosts have a list of rules for their guests to follow, including no shooting of any kind on the property, quiet hours after 10pm, and no burning of trash in the stove, fire pit, or anywhere else on the property. Guests are asked to wash any used dishes and check out by 11am.

We stayed for my son’s birthday. Upon check in (which was done on your own time with a lockbox), we walked out to the view deck and watched the sun set on the beautiful mountain. The birds chirped, it was so peaceful and serene. After that, we grabbed our sweaters and went to the bonfire to make s’mores. Following that, we stayed inside and played games, made bracelets, and had an amazing time! The next day after check out, we hung out in the area and there is so much to do! From cool coffee shops, to restaurants, to hikes… there’s an entire day that could be spent just exploring!
We headed into Dalles and found Kainos Coffee which serves coffee and wood-fired pizza. Also, the nearby Everybody’s Brewing was delicious for dinner!
All in all, great stay. The Airbnb was clean, had everything we needed, and was so peaceful and relaxing. The host would respond quickly and was very accommodating! We plan to stay again 🙂

The 20-foot octagon building around a single grand 42-inch old Douglas Fir, aptly named the Osprey Treehouse, offers a unique experience for guests. The treehouse is named after the multiple Osprey that spent the summer hovering and watching the construction.
With oversized windows and a sliding door, guests can enjoy the feeling of being high up in the trees. The treehouse sleeps 2 adults and for safety reasons, pets and children younger than 12 are not allowed. The entrance is level, and parking is close. A cleaning fee of $50 and applicable taxes are already added to the bill.
The Osprey Treehouse is separate and nestled in the trees of a 30-acre waterfront property, which includes 7 vacation homes and multiple RV spaces open in the Spring and Summer. The Columbia River Train runs along both sides of the river, which is part of the culture and can’t be avoided.
Guests of the Osprey Treehouse have full access to the 3 Coves down along the river and can enjoy picnicking during good weather or fabulous storm watching on windy days. Guests are welcome to walk the property but are asked to respect the privacy of other guests staying in the other vacation rentals.
Scott and Cinda’s treehouse is a life-renewing retreat that inspires joy! It is so comfortable, quiet and private. I am amazed at how well thought out the design and furnishings are done. How can such a small square footage feel ample, comfy and spacious? But it does. Every little “extra” thing you might think to need is provided and easily found, though not in the way or cluttering at all. Just exceptionally prepared and hosted. The treehouse was immaculately clean, with the immense Douglas Fir tree at the center, the bed was very comfy, and all the windows, deck and fresh air surrounded by the trees, river, and mountain views made it a great stay. Such a fun, relaxing place to stay. A true treehouse, high in a tree! I’ll be going back.

Built with the help of friends who formerly worked for Pete Nelson’s Treehouse Workshop, this cedar shake treehouse boasts big picture windows and a bright interior. The 150 sq. ft. space offers a cozy loft to curl up in bed among the trees and sleeps two. It is insulated, heated, and has electricity, as well as Wi-Fi and a 100″ screen/projector for entertainment.
The treehouse consists of a main floor with a bathroom and a loft area with a queen bed that’s only accessible by a ladder. Guests can enjoy a small kitchenette with a Keurig, microwave, hot water pot, and a small fridge. An outdoor kitchen space with a small propane Weber grill, single burner camp stove, pots/pans, and a large crock of drinking water is also available.
The bathroom features a composting toilet and pump sink complete with robes & sandals for the outdoor shower experience. An outdoor shower space complete with a propane fed hot shower is also available. The living space expands to the wrap-around deck where there is a propane fire pit to warm up by and enjoy the view of the towering trees above.
Guests can also opt for a special “mycology immersion” add-on facilitated by owner Tim, a former mycologist for the US Forest Service. This add-on offers insight into the fascinating world of mushrooms and includes delicious mushroom treats & charcuterie, access to a rare & extensive mycology library with guided readings, a relaxing sauna experience with mycology audio session, discussions about mushrooms and their importance in our world, and viewing of recommended mushroom films on the treehouse projector. A light breakfast is also provided. Additional fee of $250 is required for this add-on.
Guests have full and private access to the treehouse, which has a wrap-around deck and propane fire pit. Due to the uniqueness of the space, children under 12 are not allowed for safety reasons. The treehouse is semi off the grid with spotty Wi-Fi and only a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, and hot water pot. The bedroom/loft is only accessible by ladder. The treehouse is located on the same property as the owner’s main house, but down the hill, offering guests privacy.
The treehouse was a beautiful forest getaway! The mycology add-on was amazing—highly recommended if you are a culinary fan of mushrooms. The charcuterie spreads both nights I was there were both gorgeous and delicious. The sauna part of the upgrade was lovely and relaxing. Even the outdoor shower was lovely, amongst the trees. You’re not that far from Seattle, or even that far from the freeway, but you feel miles away from everything (in a great way)! Tim and Erica were great hosts as well. Highly recommended!

This was the perfect mid-week get away. It’s less than an hour from Seattle, nestled in a forested neighborhood, but once you get to the house it feels like you’re the only people around for miles. The property is beautiful and very private. There are trails to explore near the creek and North Bend is just a 5 minute drive away with a cute downtown street complete with delicious pub food and an old school shake shop. Oh, and of course…..Mt. Si views. Beautiful floor to ceiling windows allow for an amazing view of the trees swaying in the wind. The bed is firm, the linens are lovely, and the water pressure in the shower is great. All this would have made for a renewing retreat, but add on the hot tub and this is in my top 3 all time favorite locations. Cierra, the host, was very responsive and helpful. We’ve already booked our next stay!!

The food situation is a little tricky as there is only a microwave. Considering the price to stay it would be nice to add a small bundle of wood to use for a fire, as many other airbnbs do. Or have a bbq available. We were told to get wood so we did but when we went to use the lighter it was empty and looked like it was left in the rain. Wasn’t a huge deal, we just went to town to grab another, but sorta an inconvenience after a long day of hiking and driving I was looking forward to just having a beer and cook a couple sausages.

The luxurious custom-built treehouse boasts a home movie theater, a large deck with propane heaters, and breathtaking 360-degree views, making it the perfect location for a romantic getaway, a vacation with loved ones, or a peaceful retreat in the forest and waterfall.
Due to its unique location, all guests must sign a waiver, and the treehouse does not allow children or pets.
Guests have full access to the entire treehouse and deck, but it’s important to read the following notes before arrival:
Staying at the Bellingham Treehouse is a unique experience, as guests will be living in a house in the trees rather than on the ground. When there’s a breeze, guests may hear a faint thumping noise, but there’s no need to be alarmed, as this is a natural part of the treehouse experience. The treehouse is engineered to slide between two large Douglas fir trees, allowing them to move independently. It’s properly permitted and engineered to ensure guests’ safety.
The treehouse is smoke-free and pet-free, and the laundry detergent used is hypoallergenic and eco-friendly. If guests have any allergies or sensitivities to smells, the hosts will do their best to accommodate them.
Although the treehouse is situated in a peaceful forest and waterfall, guests may hear highway noise.
The queen-sized bed in the treehouse is a pull-out due to the small footprint of the treehouse. It’s a top-rated brand and doesn’t have any bars, but if guests find it too hard, a mattress topper can be provided upon request.
One of the owners is a licensed massage therapist and offers her services to guests staying from Monday to Tuesday, Wednesday to Thursday, or on the weekend. Guests are welcome to reach out to book an appointment.
We had an incredible stay here! Natasha was very responsive, flexible and her directions were detailed and clear. We had no issues finding the treehouse. The view was amazing, inside was spotless and we appreciated the little things like the bathrobes and snacks! Thank you so much, 10/10 recommend, will stay here again!

The mid-century modern treehouse cabin is a unique stay perched high up in the trees. It’s a well-known house on stilts in the private wooded lot near Lake Cle Elum, where guests can swim, take their boat out, or picnic on the beach with just a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive. The area is a nature lover’s paradise, with miles of trails accessible from the front door.
The Timber Stilts cabin combines modern Scandinavian style furnishings with a rustic, cedar cabin aesthetic, offering both hotel and home comforts for a relaxed, elevated experience. Guests can enjoy the hot tub, wrap-around deck, fully stocked kitchen, or venture out to nearby trails, lakes, or food and music in the lively town of Roslyn (10 min) or nearby Suncadia (15-20 min).
The cabin has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a folding twin bed on wheels in each closet. The twin beds can be set up in each bedroom or rolled out to the living room together, ideal for 1-2 small families or couples. A pack and play are available for little ones to sleep in. The cabin accommodates a maximum of six people, including children, even though Airbnb allows six people plus additional infants.
The cabin is accessible by car during non-winter months. However, during the winter (roughly mid-Dec to Mar), neighborhood roads are closed to cars, and visitors must hike or snowmobile in, as winter is hike-in only. The distance from the parking lot to the cabin is half a mile uphill, takes about 15 minutes to walk, and is a workout. A neighborhood taxi is available, offering rides in a heated SxS on tracks with room for four plus luggage for $25 (not guaranteed, but message the hosts for more information). Guests can also rent snowmobiles from The Last Resort, five minutes away, and they’ll even deliver to the neighborhood.
The cabin has a private driveway with parking area when not snowed in. However, note that there’s a sharp and steep turn into the gravel driveway, so a trailer would not make it up. Parking for trailers is available at the bottom of the neighborhood. An AWD vehicle is recommended.
Guests should supervise kids at all times, as the cabin has a very high wrap-around deck and tall staircase that can be dangerous, with three doors that lead outside and lots of escape routes for little ones.
I couldn’t picture a more perfect place to spend the weekend, we were saying we wanted to come back before even leaving. The only issue we had on the entire trip was not being able to connect to the internet, Yuriy was incredibly helpful and, when it didn’t end up working, extended an olive branch by allowing us to check out later the next day. Overall amazing experience!

The Treehouse is a clean and contact-free bungalow for the true adventurer, lifted 17′ off the ground, perfect for one or two nights of glamping. Guests must love steps, heights, and incredible views. The private bathroom is a bit of a hike to get to (down/up the stairs), but it has all the necessary amenities. The hosts provide great ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and activities for the day, while guests can take in the view and watch a movie with the electric fireplace at night.
The Treehouse offers a spectacular view, and guests seeking a unique stay will appreciate its unconventional features. The bathroom is attached to the house but accessed from an exterior door, and it’s exclusively for the guests, locked off from the house. It’s not a shared space, but worth mentioning.
The hosts request positive vibes only, creating a peaceful atmosphere for guests to enjoy.
We had a great stay here! Check in/out was a breeze! The driveway did make me a little nervous, I didn’t realize how steep it was! Treehouse itself was amazing and we loved the little “cigar lounge”. We enjoyed watching the sunset up there! Only issue I had was the shower towels smelled a little bit mildewy, not a big deal, but that was really the only thing I noticed and it didn’t bother us to the point where we bugged the host about it! Other than that, this was a great place and a peaceful stay. We couldn’t believe how quiet it was. It was amazing! There is a little bit of a trek when it comes to going to the bathroom so just be aware of that when you book😊 Thanks for having us, we will be back someday!!!!!

The Treehouse features a 4-foot-wide Western Red Cedar that passes directly through the middle of the structure without a single bolt driven into it. The majestic presence of Sir Cedric and the quiet within this handcrafted-with-love-abode is truly amazing, all created with guests’ comfort in mind.
The Treehouse welcomes guests with the smell of cedar into the three open-concept rooms, including a living room, kitchen, and bedroom. Guests progressively step up in elevation from one room to the next as they circle the tree, ending in the cozy, nest-like bedroom with a 100% organic mattress. A spacious deck off the kitchen with a propane barbecue and comfortable chairs is surrounded by mature trees and a southern vista overlooking the inviting firepit.
The kitchen features a sink with a two-burner cooktop, a small refrigerator, and a varied selection of pots, pans, and cooking-related utensils. The Outhouse, only 15 ft from Sir Cedric staircase, is unique in its character and spaciousness, with a bit of whimsey to boot. It features a state-of-the-art Swedish made Composting Toilet. The year-round open-to-air shower, very private and next to the outhouse, accommodates two people quite nicely and may easily be the highlight experience of guests’ stay.
Sir Cedric is perfect for two people celebrating a special event or desiring a romantic peaceful getaway from the usual. The Treehouse offers a serene, quiet, and majestic feeling, and guests can gain a sense of what Sir Cedric is all about by perusing the posted photos.
The hosts do not allow dogs or children under 12 due to safety and insurance issues, but depending on the circumstances and answers to specific questions, they may be flexible on this. Guests should not use candles or open flames of any kind within Sir Cedric, and slip-on shoes are recommended.
My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sir Cedric – one of the most unique Airbnb stays we’ve had! The unit was clean, private, fun, and peaceful – waking up to the peaceful sound of uninterrupted birdsong was a real treat. The treehouse has fun quirks to it – and it was both comfortable and included all of the amenities we could ask for. The outhouse was a pleasant surprise – easy access and very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend – we’re definitely planning to come back!
